One Year To Live

One Year To Live (Archive message- in memory of those who died in '07 Minnesota Bridge Collapse) Luke 13:6-9

This message (offered in Worship today, July 18, 2011) is from Alpha Church archives and is offered in memory of those who died in the tragic Minnesota Bridge Collapse accident that occurred August 1, 2007 near Minneapolis St. Paul, Minnesota. We remember those who died and we remember the heros who helped with that tragedy that day- those who assisted, those who prayed, and Jesus Christ who was there in the midst of it all. We continue to pray for those with hearts that are healing from the unexpected deaths of their loved ones. Please note that in this message the number of those who died and the number of those who were injured is inaccurate and we apologize for the inaccuracies- at the writing of the sermon message those were the numbers we had from the news reports. Today, through the parallel use of the Parable of the Fig tree given to us by Jesus Christ, we are able to make some sense of how to go forward with our lives in a meaningful and important way.
