And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of My family, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:40
Christians are always on the look-out to give hope, help, and loving hands. The Holy Spirit leads us to 'see' that other person before us or beside us who is anxious or having a bad day and we offer hope in Christ. How? Holy Spirit directs us as to what to say using Scriptures-- "You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you," (Phil 4:13), or "Take heart, Christ has overcome the things of this world," (John 6:33) or "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, (1 John 4:4).
Speaking Scripture to redirect someone's thought process is a beginning. The second is to find out what the other person is struggling with and offer to help. Holy Spirit may ask you to drop everything else and comfort someone else.
As Holy Spirit develops and grows Christian empathy within your heart you will find that you're not the only one Holy Spirit is prompting to use Christ's compassion. Together, we are called into action for Christ.
God makes all things possible. (Matthew 19:26) Look with your Holy Spirit led heart for the last, least, and lost--- put your agenda on pause in order to give hope and help. And lastly, golden words, saying, "I love you with Christ's Love and you are not alone during this. I can help." Relying on Holy Spirit, we are all family in Christ Jesus.
