Do you have a clear vision today of our Lord Jesus who spent agonizing hours on the Cross dying for you because of His great love for you, personally and individually for you?
Just to think of Him we are together, as we breathe in Holy Spirit life, and with the wondrous strength of Heavenly Father with us—so, is your heart filled with thanks and gratitude each moment of today and into this tonight? His love is remarkable and transformative.
It is Christ’s love that pulls the preacher’s kid, John Wesley, up from poverty and even out the second story window of a burning parsonage and later places him onto a tree stump to preach to the coal miners, those living on the streets, and to form a new church out of an old one in North America.
His love warms hearts and energizes us with zeal for reading Scriptures. Anyone who serves Jesus may be stirred up in heartfelt enthusiasm to give Jesus thanks and glory, which then overflows into other’s lives as our clear vision for what the Lord has ahead of us becomes really exciting and wondrously His. For, clear vision is His vision.
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; look, new things have come into being! 2 Corinthians 5:17
