Crying During Christmas time

Updated: Jun 9, 2019

At the shopping center I could not get my mind off of the baby crying. I felt myself wanting to hold him, comfort, and discover why he was crying. As a mother I remember that sometimes babies cry. His mother seemed relaxed and confident as she tended to her other son as he cried, and when she sat the baby on her lap his crying softened and then stopped. Baby Jesus had crying and as an adult He cried too.

He cried when His best-friend Lazarus died. He cried while sitting at the top of a hill because He was so sad for those who rejected Him as Savior and Lord. And as He cried God cried too. Jesus shows us that God has full understanding of a sadness which lays on our hearts. Jesus would relieve your crying yet sometimes we need to cry. And during your crying He moves in very close to you so that you do not feel alone, He comforts, and He knows why you cry.

During a sad moment trust your Lord for He makes a way ahead for you. His Light shines even during a shadow of sadness. He has a bright future for you and for those you love. Trust Him to make a way when you cannot see the way. He's got you in His Love. Lift up your heart to Him with hope and He will secure that faith desire within you, lock it in to Him, and remind you of His secure guidance in your life.
