Jesus says, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in Me. John 14:1
Jesus is speaking to the whole group, listeners, and those who long to have Peace in their hearts. These are the poor in spirit, those who lack resources and are in great need, and He is speaking to even the person on the last row who feels invisible. Their society has taught them that they are invisible-- little children and women are considered lower-than-low class and worthless and should not be given any attention to their needs. Seeing them, a man is taught in his youth to cross on the other side of the street.
The widows are especially at a loss in the society of Jesus' time-- they turn to passive begging and sickness is their greatest enemy. God has heard the cries of the last, least, and the loney and given them the Savior Jesus. Now they tune their hearts to Him to hear, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in Me." (John 14:1)
They'll remember that He said that and use His Words to get up in the morning, focus on the day ahead of them with His Love in their hearts, and have clarity that God sees them and cares for them. This they believe. Jesus is everything. And they'll give thanks to Him as thanks to Him becomes habit. Their small needs somehow begin to be miraculously met and the load of worry on their hearts is lifted because of Him.
Those lowliest folks, including the children, do not wait to take Him into their hearts. They do not have the luxury of gathering at a coffee shop in the morning and discussing whether He is right for their lives or not. He is right. And in believing in Him they are inwardly transformed by His love and healing. They do not wait. They are His followers.
And when they listen to His closing words that day they remember them too and repeat them to each other. He says, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid." (v. 27) They just simply find that they are not afraid anymore ever. And it's quite remarkable. And if it can happen for them it can happen for you.
