After the wise men visit toddler Jesus bearing gifts, the angel of the Lord appears to Joseph in a dream and says, "Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is about to search for the Child, to destroy Him." Matthew 2:13
With haste Joseph obeys. God protects.
Do you know the protection of God too? It is one of Jesus' Promises that you do. In John chapter 10 Jesus says that He calls you by your name and you know His voice (v. 3). Jesus also says that you hear His voice (v. 27). Jesus gives us His Presence in the Holy Spirit so that we hear Him clearly.
The Holy Spirit may quietly prompt us or may be loud. Surely Spirit reminds us each day, "Get up into Jesus." We get up by putting on the fullness of God in Christ -- truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 6:11-17) Get up into Christ's protective assets which the Apostle Paul lays out plainly in Ephesians.
