How to Place Your Faith In Jesus

Updated: Nov 18, 2020

John 1:1-5

These first five verses of John’s Gospel about Jesus are a Holy hymn. We remember that Jesus and His disciples sang just prior to going up to the Mount of Olives to pray with Jesus before Jesus’ arrest. John gifts this meaningful hymn to us for inspiration and understanding of Who is your Savior and Lord.

Jesus is The Word; source of all faith and creation’s life giving activity with the Heavenly Father. Jesus’ unique identity is present at the beginning of everything, with God the Heavenly Father, and that identity is Life itself then, now, and future. Without Jesus not one thing has come into being.

Look at your life created by Him, learn His teaching about New Birth in John 3 and place all of your faith in Him, the Word. Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. He takes away your sin with His forgiveness-- humbly ask HIm and He will do this.

Through John’s Gospel listen to Holy Spirit within your heart as Holy Spirit helps you to understand God’s Plan for you and how you may fully participate in The Plan to be better than you have to be.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in Him was Life and the Life was the Light Of The All People. The Light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it.  John 1:1-5
