This is our Holy way to come before our loving Heavenly Father as Jesus has taught us-- to come before God in truth and humility. Our prayer of confession is not a fleeting prayer, spoken by rote and memorization. We speak from our hearts. Our hearts have been warmed by Jesus love to acknowledge ourselves before our loving Heavenly Father and tell it like it is.
At the beginning of the Service Of Holy Communion, Eucharist, we confess: Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved You with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient Church. We have not done Your will, we have broken Your law, we have rebelled against Your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
When our Church had first posted Holy Communion online we had a Pastor write to us to say, "This really works!" Online Communion helps us. Christ promises He is with us in the breaking of the bread and the sharing of His cup.
Confession is repentance. Jesus Christ calls us to this. Jesus is powerfully with us during our heartfelt prayer. And as we pray it together, Nation joining Nations in Christian servanthood and discipleship to Sovereign God, Jesus frees us to be joyfully obedient to remember His body and blood given for us on the Cross.
His body broken for us. His blood shed for us. His gift of Himself to each one of us, unworthy as we each are, blesses our confession with forgiveness and amazing grace. He draws us nearer to Himself and pours out His love and assurance as we eat the blessed bread and drink

Please-- Bring something small to eat, like a piece of bread, tortilla, pita, or kernels of grain to chew. Also bring a small amount of something to drink. During this service of Holy Communion you will lift these elements to Him for Holy blessing and then eat and drink. We believe the Service of Holy Communion frees us for joyful obedience together--
as His believers around this world.
