Pool Of Grace

Updated: Jun 9, 2019

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”  The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me.” Jesus said to him, “Stand up, take your mat and walk.”  At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk. John 5:6-9

The lame man was healed beside the pool at Bethesada, which means 'house of Grace.' He wanted so badly to get into the pool of Grace for his healing yet he could not accomplish his goal. With Jesus His goal is met!

When you come into the Grace of Jesus you may find that Jesus instantly fills you with His love, that you experience acceptance just as you are, and in spending time in His Presence you are transformed to be more like Him. Yes, His Holiness becomes your inner well-source of goodness.

The healing of the paralytic at Bethesda is a miraculous healing from Jesus. Jesus is going by him to the Jewish feast and stops to speak with this lame man, disabled for 38 years. The message for us is that Jesus is the Pool of Grace alive within us to initiate healing and wellness. Then and now.

To God be the Glory!
