Trust

Jesus expects us to trust Him in all things. Trust is to pay close attention to Jesus-- what He is doing right before you, to who else is involved with Him by faith, and to what is going on in His Kingdom among us.

When Jesus was walking through a crowd of people someone touched Him then they shrank back into the crowd. "Who touched Me?" He asked His disciples. They didn't know because they did not have close attention on Him. He had felt Power go out from Him and He asks, "Who touched Me?" He knew, they didn't.

Trusting in His healing, she touched. Returning at His call, she falls down before Him. She declares her embarrassing illness then announces to all that she has been healed by Jesus. Praise Jesus for His miracles then and His miracles now!

Jesus says her faith has made her well. He calls her 'daughter.'

Daughter trusts by faith that God's Son will do for her what He has done for others. We can do that! Use trusting faith like her. Reach out to Him for healing during any crisis, anything that seeks to overwhelm, and reach and touch for His healing love. Trust, love Him, receive His Power. In Christ Jesus' Name be healed.

42 As He went, the crowds pressed in on Him. 43 Now there was a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years; and though she had spent all she had on physicians, no one could cure her. 44 She came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His clothes, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped. 45 Then Jesus asked, “Who touched me?” When all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround You and press in on You.” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched Me; for I noticed that Power had gone out from Me.” 47 When the woman saw that she could not remain hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. 48 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in Peace.” Luke 8:42-48
