Zechariah and Elizabeth

The coming of Messiah begins with Zechariah on duty at the temple as solo priest elected to minister inside the area containing the Holy of Holies. Abruptly, an Angel of the Lord with an idea that his prayers for a child are answered! He and Elizabeth will have a son who will be the forerunner of the Messiah! The Angel says, call him John. v.13

The Angels, who have been anointing our Praise and Thanksgivings, have begun to tenderly direct us toward this special time of Christmas preparations. We prepare our hearts through love and giving to others. Take away self interests and our earth balances. Compassions increase. And loving intentions spill out of us through kindnesses.

With Zechariah we yearn for a Baby again. Just so, Jesus may have rebirth within our hearts on Christmas. Holy Spirit Power. Yearning for Christmas joins us in Holy motivation. This is God's now:

enter into God's Holy sanctum of salvation's blessings

the sacred we joyfully share.

One Light shines brightly. So we uncoil delicate lights, put up a tree, fill homes with sugar cookie scents, and nail a small mistletoe up where kisses understand, 'Let joy and laughter come!'

For this year in particular-- our Christmas is for the children's good. This is for Christ. So the small hearts see mangers in their hearts. -- like Zechariah, treading with Holy duty.

10Now at the time of the incense offering, the whole assembly of the people was praying outside. 11Then there appeared to him an angel of the Lord, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. 12When Zechariah saw him, he was terrified; and fear overwhelmed him. 13But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will name him John. 14You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, 15for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink; even before his birth he will be filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:10-15
