Jesus' teachings have been handed down through the generations and His Words are given to us to use, speak, and live out. God speaks to you through Jesus' words. Some Bibles put Jesus' words in red ink so that they are highlighted for the reader to pay particular attention to during your time with your Bible.
It's remarkable that Jesus' words have God's rich will for your life within them. Begin with Mark 10:23-27 and find that with God's Love guiding you through Christ all things are possible. Then go to John 17 and take into your heart the prayer that Jesus prays for you and for all of His disciples. This prayer begins with Jesus' full committal to go to the Cross and die so that you may have His salvation and the gift of eternal life.
The sound words of our Lord Jesus allow you to live in His realm of godliness, holiness, and to honor Him in all that you think, do, and say. Use His Name often when you pray for others trials and distress and remember that He spent much time in prayer conversing with Heavenly Father, sometimes He prayed all night. And please know 'I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the world.' Romans 8:1
