During this time of COVID-19 we realize the health care workers who patiently work with virus high risk sacrifice for all of us. After work many go to new temporary homes so that their families are not sickened, others have lent their children to loving care away from them for safety, and still others have been called on to do more than they felt capable simply because they are there on the virus front line.
Their sacrifice is a testimony to a dream. The dream is that we are building on earth the caring Kingdom which Jesus gave up His Life to revolutionize. Our brothers and sisters, children and grandparents, live in love and peace regardless of nationality, origin, color, or background. Joined together, the race to find the cooperative cure worldwide is undergirded prayerfully.
God intends His Kingdom to be forged by us during whatever struggle confronts us. It is Nation with Nations and links us, unifying us in Christ Jesus. Christ has shown us sacrifice. For, greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.. We do like Him in our hearts, minds, and actions.
The sun will not hurt them, and no heat will burn them because the Lamb at the center of the Throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of water that give Life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:16-17
