Yesterday I met with Jennifer, a woman whose nonprofit organization helps women unite with their children. The women are just out of prison and have to follow guidelines and training so that their transitions into home-life and work-life are beneficial. Jennifer resonated with our Lord's loving goodness as she explained to me the two year process these women complete.
One of the goals for each woman who is released from prison is to claim this Promise from God: For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Jeremiah 29:11 Hope has to do with our futures. We each claim the plan our Lord has tor us and live it to the fullest.
Just as these women are being helped to make good choices for themselves and for their children, so our Lord wants to help you do that too. In Matthew 7:7 Jesus tells us to ask Him and it shall be given. His energizing Power comes through Holy Spirit when you look ahead two years. Look ahead.
What does our Lord want you to strive for? He'll tell you during your talks with Him. And when you have His vision ahead of you then you can hold that firmly in your mind while not looking backwards. He is giving you a future with hope that He'll use you in His great plan for humanity as He orchestrates the Kingdom Of God to pour blessings into our lives.
