California minister, Robert Schuller, once told of a young boy who loved baseball. Yet this young man always had to accept coach's placement on second string position. This meant the boy did not play very often. Yet the boy's father never missed a game! After his father's death the boy, with tears in his eyes, asked coach, "Please let me start tonight. I want to play for Dad."
Coach, knowing that the boy's Dad had never missed a game, agreed. The young man's performance that night astounded the coach and fans. After the game coach asked him to explain his excellent skills that suddenly appeared that night the boy played. Coach asked, "What brought on this phenomenal level of achievement tonight?"
The boy said, "Coach, I played that one for Dad. My Dad never missed a game but he never saw me play until tonight! You see coach, my Dad was blind."
Heavenly Father has never missed any part of your life. Father is looking at you and Loves you-- as you use grit for the enduring, as you are using the traits and talents Christ is developing in you, and Father delights when you are among those who know you as friend and a confidant.
As you trust Heavenly Father that your life is blessed by Him be confident that Heavenly Father is your strong Guider through Holy Spirit's Presence within your heart..
