Jesus Prays For You

Jesus prays: “ Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17

Jesus is a giver of gifts out of His compassion.  If Jesus had had a middle name it would be Compassion.

Out of His compassion, Jesus greatest desire for you is that you be sanctified like the Holy Communion wafer is sanctified.  The wafer is just plain flour and water pressed into a round shape with a cross imprinted upon it-- until the prayer requesting the Holy Spirit sanctify it. 

You're just simply blood and flesh with a cross imprinted on you-- until Jesus prays that you be sanctified.  He has prayed this prayer before you were born, during each day of your life, and He's praying it right now.  You are sanctified, made holy, by Jesus' compassionate heart.  What do we do with our sanctified selves?  My friend, we give like Jesus, intentionally and with compassionate exuberance.
